The next edition of the Chianti Classico Marathon already has a date: Sunday, May 9, 2027, when Mercatale Val di Pesa and the hills of Chianti will once again welcome runners from Italy and abroad.
The three distances that have become a defining feature of the event are confirmed for 2027:
🔴 47 km UltraTrail
🟡 22 km Trail
🔵 10 km Leisure Run & Nordic Walking
But the 2027 edition will also bring a new addition to the competitive race programme. A new challenge will become part of the Chianti Classico Marathon weekend, adding another exciting element to an event that continues to attract an increasing number of participants every year.
For now, however, you will have to be a little patient: the new race will be unveiled in September. 👀
Registration for the 2027 edition will open in October. Over the coming months, we will announce all the details regarding the new edition, the courses and participation procedures.
