📍 Location: Fattoria Poggio Borgoni, Mercatale in Val di Pesa (Florence, Italy)
As the sun sets over the vineyards and olive groves, Fattoria Poggio Borgoni opens its doors for an afternoon dedicated to discovering the aromas and flavors of the territory.
Participants will enjoy a pleasant walk through the vineyards and olive groves, discovering the plants from which extra virgin olive oil is produced.
The experience continues with a visit to the winery and the traditional orciaia, where the history of the estate and its deep connection with the land and its traditions will be shared.
The visit concludes with a guided tasting of extra virgin olive oils, paired with typical local products, to explore aromas, characteristics, and the secrets of high-quality olive oil.

6:00 AM – Start of bib collection until 30 minutes before each race start
7:00 AM – Start of the 47 km UltraTrail (briefing before the start)
8:30 AM – Start of the 22 km Trail (briefing before the start)
9:00 AM – Start of the walk, leisure pace & Nordic Walking
9:00 AM – Start of “A Ruota Libera”: accompanied walk for wheelchair athletes
11:30 AM – Start of the awards ceremony
12:00 PM – Opening of the free lunch at Casa del Popolo and Circolo MCL in Mercatale for athletes of the competitive races (Trail and UltraTrail).
For accompanying persons and participants in the 10 km leisure walk, lunch is available at a cost of €15.00
