On the occasion of the Chianti Classico Marathon 2026, Fattoria Poggio Borgoni offers an authentic experience dedicated to discovering the aromas and flavors of the territory. An event designed for those who wish to experience Chianti at a relaxed pace, immersed in nature and local traditions.
The initiative, scheduled for Friday, May 8 at 5:30 PM, will take place in the charming setting of the estate in Mercatale in Val di Pesa (Florence, Italy), surrounded by vineyards and olive groves that define the Chianti landscape.
The program includes a walk through the vineyards and olive groves, where participants can closely observe the crops and agricultural work. This will be followed by a visit to the winery and the traditional orciaia, key places that represent the estate’s production and heritage.
The experience will conclude with a guided tasting of extra virgin olive oil, paired with typical local products, offering the opportunity to discover aromas, characteristics, and quality of one of the most representative elements of Tuscan culture.
Participation is limited to 25 people, ensuring an intimate and high-quality experience.
The cost is €15 per person and €10 for children.
