On the occasion of the Chianti Classico Marathon 2026, the farm I Greppi di Silli offers two events dedicated to discovering the authentic flavors of the territory, providing participants with an immersive experience of nature, tradition, and conviviality.
The tastings will take place in the scenic countryside of Mercatale in Val di Pesa (Florence, Italy), within a rural setting that reflects the most genuine side of Chianti, made of fieldwork, local products, and warm hospitality.
An experience among fields and flavors
The program includes an introduction to the family and their activities, followed by a guided tour of the fields to closely explore agricultural work and local production.
Participants will then enjoy a tasting experience featuring a rich platter of typical products, including:
- Local cheeses paired with the farm’s own honey
- Selection of cured meats
- Bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil
- Two glasses of wine
A true journey of taste that highlights local excellence and allows visitors to discover products directly where they are made.

- Saturday, May 9, 2026 – 10:00 AM
Information and reservations
The cost of the experience is €25 per person, with a discounted rate for Chianti Classico Marathon participants (€22.50).
The activity will take place with a minimum of 15 participants.
