After carefully monitoring the situation and despite our efforts and our hopes, the health emergency underway in Italy and around the world due to the spread of Covid-19 requires and will require all the time necessary for a safe recovery of the sports activities both in Italy and throughout the world.
Therefore, with great sadness, but aware that it is the best decision to make, we have decided to cancel the 7th June 2020 edition of the Chianti Classico Marathon.
We offer two alternatives to all athletes who signed up for the 45 km Ultratrail, the 21 km Trail and the 11 km Nordic Walking.
1) Postpone the registration for the race of June 6, 2021 without any expense.
2) Asking for a refund of the amount paid which will be subtracted (we can not do otherwise) the administrative costs of 3 euros for the Sepa area, and 5 euros for the extra Sepa area. If you choose this option, you must reply to the email that was sent to the address you provided when registering, indicating your Iban and you will be reimbursed as soon as possible. If you not received the email, write to info@chianticlassicomarathon.com indicating your personal details and the option of your choice: reimbursement or transfer of registration to 2021.
All requests must be made by June 7, 2020.
We are very sorry not to have the opportunity to welcome you and see you compete in our beloved Chianti Classico, but we hope to be able to celebrate together and embrace us even stronger in the edition of 6 June 2021.
