December 31 is the last day to register for the Chianti Classico Marathon 2026 at the lowest entry fee.
From January 1, the entry fees for the competitive races will increase, making this period the most advantageous time to secure a bib at the best conditions.
Scheduled for Sunday, May 10, 2026, the Chianti Classico Marathon will once again offer a unique experience combining sport, nature and tradition, with start and finish in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Mercatale Val di Pesa (Florence), in the very heart of the Chianti region.
Three distances, one unforgettable experience
For the 2026 edition, three routes will be available, designed for runners and walkers of different levels:
- 47 km UltraTrail, the most demanding challenge, through rolling hills, castles, vineyards and long stretches of iconic white gravel roads
- 22 km Trail, an intense and spectacular race, perfect for those looking to test themselves in a breathtaking natural setting
- 10 km Passo Libero & Nordic Walking, open to everyone and non-competitive, enhanced by a large food and wine stop featuring local specialties and Chianti Classico wine
