On the occasion of the Chianti Classico Marathon 2026, wine lovers, food enthusiasts, and fans of local traditions will have the chance to enjoy a special experience at I Greppi di Silli, in Mercatale in Val di Pesa, in the municipality of San Casciano Val di Pesa (Firenze).
Two appointments are scheduled: Friday, May 9 at 2:30 PM and Saturday, May 10 at 10:00 AM, offering participants a unique immersion into the culture and products of the area.
The program includes a presentation of the family and the farm, an evocative guided tour of the fields, followed by a tasting with a platter featuring:
- two local cheeses paired with the farm’s honeys,
- a selection of cold cuts,
- bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil,
- two glasses of wine.
The cost of the experience is €25 per person, with a 10% discount reserved for Chianti Classico Marathon participants (€22.50). A minimum of 15 participants per date is required.
