SLOW FOOD DAY Saturday 1 June
Saturday 1 June in Piazza Matteotti in Greve in Chianti from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm small slow tastings and a glass of Chianti Classico wine.
In collaboration with the restaurant Mangiando Mangiando, the Agricola Vallone di Cecione and the Azienda Agricola Brogioni Maurizio, Grassi Roberto Agricultural Company.
Slow Food Day is the day that in over 100 cities in Italy offers everyone the chance to meet the local Slow Food network to learn about its activities, initiatives and projects. The theme of 2019 is the protection of food biodiversity.
Safeguarding biodiversity means building a better future for the Planet and its inhabitants and for Slow Food the challenge starts from the food that each of us puts on the table every day.
The association carries out more than 10,000 projects to protect biodiversity in 160 countries, to restore the right value to food in respect of those who produce it, in harmony with the environment and ecosystems, thanks to the knowledge of which they are custodians of territories and traditions.
